Ecology
North Coast Environmental Services offers more than 20 years combined experience in undertaking terrestrial and riparian ecological surveys throughout a diverse array of habitat types across Queensland. Our geographic exposure spans from Cairns in the north to the Queensland / New South Wales border in the south-east and as far as Longreach and Cunnamulla in the west. Standard habitats surveyed include but are not limited to open eucalypt forest, wet eucalypt forest, notophyll vine forest, heathland, tidal wetlands, freshwater wetlands, mulga woodlands and grasslands.
We service both private and public-sector development projects as well as non-development related conservation projects. Notable clients we have provided our services to include Stockland, Avid’s Harmony development at Palmview, the Badderam development on Buderim, Sunshine Coast Council, Moreton Bay Regional Council, Gympie Regional Council, Unitywater and Seqwater sites and the Aussie World expansion. We have also been assisting the Sunshine Coast Council Environmental Operations Branch with detailed ecological surveys of their extensive and expanding environmental reserve network.
Our staff are highly skilled and experienced in species identification, mitigating the risk of unforeseen compliance matters arising when we are engaged early in the project cycle.
