Ecological Assessment Reports – Wappa Dam and Cooloolabin Dam Upgrades Seqwater.
Engaged by Seqwater to undertake ecological investigations into the impact of proposed dam stability upgrades at Wappa Dam and Cooloolabin Dam. The works package included the initial ecology investigations followed by the development and submission of relevant approval applications to enable the works to proceed.

Habitat Condition Assessment – Yandina Creek Wetland – Unitywater
Engaged to undertake environmental assessment and reporting for the Yandina Creek Wetlands for the purposes of providing Unitywater with the capacity to obtain nutrient offsetting for the Coolum Sewage Treatment Plant. North Coast Environmental Services undertook a habitat condition assessment to inform a habitat quality score of the Yandina Creek Wetlands to confirm the sites’ potential to act as an offset site under the Queensland Environmental Offsets Act 2014. We also advised Unitywater of the array of potential Matters of National Environmental Services that apply to the site and for which the site may act as a potential offset receive site under the EPBC Act.

Gympie Regional Council 2015 Timber Bridge Replacement Program
Provided Site Environmental Assessments for 6 existing timber bridges subject to flood impacts across Gympie Regional Council area. Assessed on ground environmental values; flora, fauna and waterways, and advised on array of State and Federal environmental planning permit requirements (i.e. NC Act, Fisheries Act, Water Act, EPBC Act, QLD SPP).
